A merry christmas
PARENTS DON'T SHUT THEM OUT
whenever am taking a walk with my daughter(which I do very often)my heart is filled with joy because she made it through despite the huge setbacks and challenges she encountered growing up.
One major issue with our society is the level of stigma meted on this special and blessed children, yeah you need to see how people both little children and adult steer at my daughter as if she is an alien,I never allow that to border me, am used to it, its all ignorance of our society that must be changed, I always encourage other parents never to allow the steers from people border or weigh them down, its our duty as parents of special children to educate the public on accepting them as every other child, we do that by the love, care and understanding we ourselves show our special children, never get embarrassed by their actions in the public, allow this blessed children mix with other children do not shut them out, interaction with other children helps build their morals, build their brain and boost their confidence, am speaking out of experience, my daughter have lots of friends even among adults, this is one of the reason our NGO celebrate this children every 24th December, its a therapy on its own,you need to see the smiles on their faces during this Christmas children party.
We call on everyone to join us celebrate this children every 24th of December by supporting this cause financially or in kind, we need lots of toys, clothes, food and drinks e.t.c.
The good news, its a huge blessings from God to be part of this kind gesture.
